500GB Samsung 750 EVO: Samsung has announced a new version of its SSD 750 EVO. We had the opportunity to present this model appeared at the end of last year in the manufacturer’s catalog. The availability will be made to wait a bit in Europe even if the discs are available since the spring version 128 and 256 GB. Today, Samsung adds to its catalog a 512GB model.
Technically, the 750 EVO is a light version of the 850 EVO. They use the same manufacturer MGX controller coupled to the NAND TLC 16nm “classic”, where 850 EVO use of V-NAND memory. 500GB Samsung 750 EVO Update: The 500GB version is advertised as having a cache of 512 MB LPDDR3 memory against 256 MB DDR3 with 120 and 250 GB. As for performance, the announced features of the 500 GB version is identical to the model 256 GB, namely sequential speeds of 540 and 520 MB / s sequential read and write, and 97K and 94K IOPS random 4K QD32. The availability of the 500 GB model is expected in early June, with a price of about 150 euros and a three-year warranty (declensions ITG5 ITG6 and are not addressed by the manufacturer).
