That’s significantly faster than the competition, including the WS60 (363.5), the W550s (159) and the XPS 15 (254). HP Chromebook 13 G1

The HP Chromebook 13 is the finest and thinnest Chrome OS machine yet, however the lack of a touchscreen and average battery life prevent it from being the best. HP’s Chromebook 13 delivers the first QHD+ display and the first Skylake CPU in a luxurious package anyone would crave. It’s the first Chromebook with a 3200×1800 QHD+ display and a Core m processor. HP says the Chromebook 13 is the slimmest in its class at just 0.51 inch thick, and it’s light at just 2.65 pounds (not counting the 0.55-pound AC adapter).  Best high end laptops in India.

The 13.3-inch IPS display offers a first for Chromebooks: QHD+ resolution (3200×1800 pixels), which is higher than the Google Chromebook Pixel’s 2560×1700 resolution on its 12.85-inch display. The HP Chromebook 13 satisfyingly combines the cloud-based simplicity of the Chrome OS with a stylish modern design, even if it’s expensive for a Chromebook. An Intel Core m3-equipped Chromebook 13 comes priced at $599 or £730 (about AU$800), while our mid-range Intel Core m5 and 8GB of RAM configuration comes at an even steeper $819 or AU$1,288 (about £620). Lenovo ThinkPad 13

With long battery life, a sharp screen and an awesome keyboard, the ThinkPad 13 is a productivity powerhouse with an affordable price. At 12.68 x 8.78 x 0.78 inches and 3.14 pounds, the ThinkPad 13 is extremely light and easy to carry. The thin-and-light Lenovo ThinkPad 13 offers a lot for a little, including a great keyboard, a matte 1080p screen, useful port assortment, a fair amount of upgrade options and a lightweight, but rugged build quality.  Best high end laptops in India.

Starting at around $600 (AU$900, £360), the ThinkPad 13 might not go above and beyond for performance with its entry-level components. The ThinkPad 13’s full-HD display offers sharp images, solid viewing angles and colors that are mostly accurate, though not particularly rich.

There’s an Intel 6th Generation Core processor, but it’s the low-tier i3-6100 at 2.3GHz. There’s a solid state drive, but it only offers 128GB of storage. And there’s just 4GB of 2133MHz DDR4 memory. None of that’s spectacular, but it’s all in an attractive ThinkPad, that weighs just a tad over three pounds. The full HD-resolution display (1,920×1,080 pixels) is also nice to have on a laptop at this size and price. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga

Light, durable and flexible design; Optional OLED screen; Excellent keyboard; Full-day battery life; Accurate stylus. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a sleek business 2-in-1 that will last a full workday whether you’re banging out spreadsheets or drawing on the screen. Inside is an island-style keyboard, a trackpad and nub, a fingerprint reader, and a 1920 x 1080 touch-screen display surrounded by a thick, black bezel. A card reader is located on the back of the device, but it’s difficult to access when the X1 is in laptop mode. The new OLED display looks stunning, and this professional-level Yoga has a great keyboard, active stylus, and rugged body.  Best high end laptops in India.

At 13.11 x 9.01 x 0.66 inches and 2.8 pounds, the X1 Yoga is slightly larger than the Vaio Z Flip (12.8 x 8.5 x .66 inches) and the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 (12.20 x 8.66 x 0.70 inches) but is fractions of a pound lighter than both. Specs: 14-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440p) OLED touchscreen with 300 nits | 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor with 4GB RAM | 126GB ROM | Windows 10 Pro 64-bit | USB x3, HDMI x 1. At a resolution of 2560 x 1440, it’s more 2K than 4K, but I’m constantly stunned by how good the colors look on this display. If you work with digital images or videos then color accuracy and reproduction is key, and the X1 display doesn’t disappoint here.

Even for a smaller laptop screen, there’s still a premium to pay. The exact high-end configuration we tested, with the OLED 2,560×1,440 display, a Core i7-6600U processor, 16GB of RAM and a big 256GB SSD, costs $2,289, as configured through Lenovo’s website.
