If by any chance you forgot your Wireless password and have no backup, then you you can always find the password by doing the following, only if you have a computer running Windows and that is connected to your wireless network.
- In the first step Go to > Start and select Settings
- Then Go to > Network & Internet Settings. Or you can also use windows search, just enter view network connections, in the search bar and in the search results, select View network connections
- Now you have to select the network you want to connect to, and then tap or click on Connect.
- In Network Connections, then press and hold (or right-click) the network name,
- And then Click or tap on Status > Wireless Properties.
- Now tap or click on Select the Security tab,
- And then select Show characters.
The password for the wireless network is displayed in the Network security key field.

- In the first step Just Open a web browser on your PC or Laptop.
- Then you have to enter the IP address for your wireless router into the search bar of opened web browser. Every manufacture has different IP Address (for example TP-Link router has, 192.168.0.1).
- You can also look for your router’s default IP address in your router documentation or online.
- Now you have to enter the user name and password to open your router’s configuration webpage.
- NOTE: Most router documentation includes the default user name and password. For example TP-Link router default username and password is admin.
- Now on the configuration webpage of your router, just find the wireless or wireless settings option.
- Now in the Wireless tab look for a Wireless security or wireless encryption setting.
- Now look for network key, a pass phrase, or a network password tabs. If found then you can change your password. (You can enter ASCII characters between 8 and 63 or Hexadecimal characters between 8 and 64.)
