1 Go to settings on your iPhone or iPad

2 In iOS 8 Tap on Mobile.

In iOS 6 Tap General > Usage > Cellular Usage.

3 Scroll down to Mobile data usage or Cellular data usage

The tab will show you Current period data usage and Data roaming usage. But you will not get the correct information about monthly usage of data until you reset the statistics or billing cycle.

4 Scroll down and Tap on Reset statistics.

Resetting data statistics and billing cycle on your iPhone and iPad will give you more accurate data usage readings.
