Enable a passcode on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Lock screen

  1. In order To change your iOS device passcode or passcode settings. Open Setiings app from your Home screen.
  2. Go to Settings >  then Touch ID or Passcode.
  3. If your device has Touch ID then Go to > Touch ID.
  4. If your device do not has Touch ID then Go to Settings > passcode
  5. Tap Turn passcode On.
  6. Now Enter 4 digits to use as your passcode.
  7. you will have to Re-enter the 4 digits again to confirm your passcode.

    • You can always Change or turn off your iOS device passcode anytime to tighten your iPhone security.
    • Require Passcode: Set how long after sleep a passcode is required. By default this is set to immediate, but you can set this to longer times.

    • You can also turn on Erase Data option, which will automatically erase your iPhone or iPad after ten failed passcode attempts. Just toggle on Erase data feature to enable this.
