How to setup and enable guest mode on Android Phones Lollipop 5.0:
What really is more interesting beyond the possibility of setting up a Guest User in a timely manner, is the possibility of adding different user accounts, which we can activate by clicking on the “Add More” option. Here the options to be configured are much more extensive, and you can restrict a greater number of accesses, both to applications, as to personal information.
- Unlock and open your android Smartphone.
- Pull down or swipe down the top notification bar of your Android phone.
- In the third step you’ll see User Icon on the top right corner.
- Click that user or avatar icon if it doesn’t open double click it.
- After that you will see Add Guest and Add user icons.
- Select Add guest for creating a Guest mode account and Select Add user for creating a new user on your android device.
- After selecting ADD Guest icon, your android device will switch to Guest Mode.
- Switching process to Guest mode may take some time during first use, but it will work smoothly after some minutes.
- So, now you can give your phone to your friends and family members without resetting any passwords or hiding any files.
Once you have activated the guest mode, you can give it to any friend or family, as you willnot be able to access certain applications or content, so your messages, images, annotations, etc., will be safe.
To re-activate our user profile, simply repeat the process, this time choosing the avatar of our user , instead of the profile of the guest and we can re-use our smartphone in a normal way.
It should be noted that when switching to the guest profile, the terminal probably slows down and works slower than normal for a few minutes, but then it usually returns to normal operation.
How to switch back to Main user from Guest user:
- Swipe down the notification bar and then click on user icon, which is in the top right corner.
- Then tap or click on account you want to go back to, you will be logged in to that account.
How to remove guest mode from Android Phones Lollipop 5.0:
- Unlock and open your android Smartphone.
- Pull down or swipe down the top notification bar of your android device.
- In the third step you’ll see User Icon on the top right corner.
- Click on Remove Guest user to remove Guest mode from your Android 5.0 Lollipop.
NOTE: Removing Guest user mode from your android Lollipop 5.0 device will remove all the user information and data. It will remove all downloads, browsing history, Photos and videos taken everything from your android Lollipop 5.0 device. So, make sure to backup data if you still needed it.
Some android phones doesn’t have Lollipop 5.0 installed on it. So, should check it for first, because some smartphone makers like LG, Samsung and Huawei has preloaded Guest mode feature.
LG phones like LG G2, LG G3, and LG Mini have preloaded Guest mode. And Samsung phones like High galaxy models also have reinstalled guest mode feature.
