Every windows version have some ways to create a Wi-Fi hotspot, like if you see windows XP there is a feature called adhoc network – using which you can make laptop a wifi hotspot or you can create a wireless network without a router. Windows 7 also has this feature but these features are little bit complicated. And in Windows 8, windows 8.1 and Microsoft Windows 10 – Microsoft didn’t provided any graphical interface for setting this up. It also provides a nice interface for setting this up, one more convenient than the one found in Windows 7. Windows 8, and Microsoft Windows 10.
Moreover, virtual router just adds a little extra interface and make this feature possible, so that users can access this feature easily and faster. For example, it creates a virtual Wi-Fi adapter that allows you to be connected to a Wi-Fi network while hosting your own Wi-Fi network.
Virtual Router is not only completely Free, but will not annoy you with any advertisements. Also, since Virtual Router is not ad-supported, it does not track your web traffic the way other ad-supported applications do/can. The Wireless Network create/shared with Virtual Router uses WPA2 Encryption, and there is not way to turn off that encryption.
You can give your “virtual” wireless network any name you want, and also set the password to anything. Just make sure the password is at least 8 characters.
