If Start menu is the default option on your device.

1. In order to swap start menu to start screen, click  or tap on Start button and
2. Then Go to > Settings Window.
3. Now under Settings tab, click or tap on Personalization.
4. Now Go to > Start tab under Personalization window.
5. Now you’ll see a setting that says “Use Start full screen” that’s currently turned off. Turn that setting on so the button turns blue and the setting says “On.
6. Now turn this option on,
7. And next time you press windows key button, you will now see a full-screen Start menu.

Swap Between Start Menu and Start Screen

Let’s say the Start screen is the default option on your Windows device and you want to change that to the Start menu. Just do the opposite.

1. In order to swap start menu to start screen, click  or tap on Start button and
2. Then Go to > Settings Window.
3. Now under Settings tab, click or tap on Personalization.
4. Now Go to > Start tab under Personalization window.
5. Now you’ll see a setting that says “Use Start full screen” that’s currently turned on. Turn that setting off so the button turns blue and the setting says “off.
6. Now turn this option off,
7. Now click the Start button, and you should see the Start menu instead of start screen
