STEP 1: Unpacking and charging

STEP 11: APPLE WATCH MUSIC AND MEDIA SET UP
The Apple Watch can Play songs without your iPhone and can also do some other things without it’s other half. Your Apple Watch playlist is limited to 1 GB by default. In the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, you can change this setting to 2 GB, 500 MB, or 100 MB. If you prefer to limit by song number, you can limit your playlist to 15, 50, 125, or 250 songs. But to do it, you’ll have to head into iTunes or the Music app on your phone to sync some music over to the Watch. Sync your playlist
- Set your Apple Watch on its charger and make sure the device is charging.
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- From the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap Music > Synced Music.
- Tap the playlist you want to sync to your Apple Watch. When a message next to your playlist says Sync Pending, your playlist will begin syncing from your iPhone to your Apple Watch.
- Wait until the sync is finished before using your Apple Watch. To see the sync progress, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap Music.
You might need to download any music stored in the cloud, such as music from Apple Music or iTunes Match, to your iPhone before you can sync it with your Apple Watch.
STEP 12: CHOOSE AND ORGANIZE YOUR GLANCES
By swiping up from the Apple Watch face, Glances are displayed, such as the weather forecast or the user’s current location. Swiping will cycle through Glances, and tapping on a Glance will launch the associated app. Glances, are the small info screens you access by swiping up from the watch face. You will a ton of glances on your Apple watch. You will not use each of them because there are a lot of them, and having to swipe through stuff you absolutely don’t care about to access stuff that you do care about is annoying. And the best way to get rid of unused glances that you don’t want to use is from the Glances setting in the app. It is like Notification Center. You can reorder glances or hit the minus button to take them off your watch.

From the main screen of the Apple Watch app, scroll down to the list of apps. Tap on the name of an app to see if there is an available Glance. To install the app on your Watch, toggle the Show App on Apple Watch option to the “ON” position. To enable the Glance, turn on the Show in Glances option. STEP 13: ORGANIZE YOUR APPS AND SET PREFERENCES
The good news is that new Apple Watch user can make things a bit more bearable by organizing and rearranging their Apple Watch apps into a layout that works best for them. STEP 14: IPHONE CONTACTS ON APPLE WATCH
Your contacts should all be synced over to the phone. You can access your favorites by pressing the button on the side of the Watch, then use the digital crown to scroll through them.
