How to transfer files from a USB flash drive to a PC on Windows 10

It’s important to remember that you won’t be able to transfer files from a USB flash drive unless there are files on it—if the flash drive has been formatted, you’ll need to put some files on it first before being able to transfer them.

You’ve got files on a flash drive that you want to transfer to your Windows 10 PC, but the transfer won’t seem to go through. It shouldn’t be complicated: plug in the flash drive and then drag and drop the folders and files to where they need to be. But that’s not working, so you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to get it done.
