If you are using Windows 10 operating System you can share directly from the File Explorer with the new Share button. But, If you’re using Windows 8, you can swipe open the Charms bar and click the Share charm.

- Step 1: Find the file or Document Which you want to share:
- In the first step just Open up the Windows 10 File Explorer and The Go to > to the files or folders you want to share. You can share it to Dropbox, Email, Facebook depending upon the number of apps you have installed on your Windows 10 PC.
- You can share any file type, although you cannot share any file type with any app.
- Now Select the file you want to share by clicking on it.
- Step 2: Now you have to Open the Sharing menu:
- Now While in the file explorer and after selecting the files you want to share, just look at the top of the file explorer, and you will find four tabs: File, Home, Share, View.
- Now Click or tap on Share tab, which will open a new menu tab.
- Depending on what type of file you have selected, different options in the Sharing menu will be available to you. For example, if you’ve selected a folder, and not a file, the Share button will be grayed out and the Zip button will be available.
- Step 3: Now Click the Share button to Share your files:
- Now you will see a share button with three dots icon same as windows 8 share icon.
- Now tap or Click on Share button to open up the Share sidebar.
- Step 4: Now Choose the platform you want to share your files with:
- In the Share sidebar, you’ll see a list of apps you can share your file with. You can share it to Dropbox, Email, Facebook depending upon the number of apps you have installed on your Windows 10 PC.
- Again, depending on the file type you’re trying to share, some apps may not show up.
- If you are sharing a Zip file only Mail app will show.
- Step 5: Configure your Sharing options
- By default, the Share sidebar shows the apps you share with most often — to change this and other Sharing options,
- Go to the Settings menu,
- Click on System, and open the Share tab.
- Here you can toggle the frequently used apps list on and off.
